TERNILO / REMOTE-AI-CODING

Continue AI coding on your phone with the same project and session

Leave your desk, open the same session and give the next instruction. Your selected computer still executes the task; your phone becomes another way to access it.

Connect the computer, then open it on your phone

  1. Deploy a Server using the product documentation and configure HTTPS for ongoing remote access.
  2. Sign in and register the execution computer under User settings → My machines. Obtain the generated connection command.
  3. Stop any existing local service cleanly. Run the generated command with your original data directory and Profile, and confirm the computer is online.
  4. Open the Server URL on your phone, sign in, select the computer and existing workspace and session, then read the latest history and continue the task.

Progress follows you; files stay on the execution computer

Existing workspaces and sessions are retained, and reconnection catches up on missed records. The folders you browse on your phone belong to the target computer, not your phone.

Remote access needs no extra copy of the project on your phone. It does not automatically migrate files to another computer. Choosing the execution machine and choosing a model source are separate actions.

Do I expose a local port to the internet?

The local service listens on loopback and the computer connects out to the Server. Other devices use the authenticated Server entry point; you do not need to expose port 3210.

A personal VPS uses the same connection process as your own computer. Accessing your own remote machines does not require a hosted execution Worker.

What happens when a device disconnects?

New operations that need the target computer require it to be online and connected. During disconnection, existing tasks depend on the local runtime. Reconnect and inspect their actual result.

The mobile web app can be installed as a PWA. Its offline cache provides the application shell, not offline task execution. Closing a browser is also different from stopping a task or its service.

Common questions

Can I continue from another computer?

Yes. Open the same Server entry point to access the original execution computer and its session. That computer still needs to be online.

Can my phone use a sleeping computer?

New tasks need a reachable execution computer. Remote access does not provide a wake-up service or replacement execution when the computer is asleep or offline.

Can I share a session with teammates?

Server resource permissions separately control viewing, submission, stopping and configuration. Sharing a workspace does not share every model or its API keys.
